ABOUT
Kelly Owens is a professional wanderer based in southern Connecticut. She is the writer of The Wandering Nerve newsletter on Substack, where she writes at the intersection of art, culture, and the human condition. What's more, she juggles social media content creation, marketing, and supports web development for small businesses.
As a singer-songwriter, she is inspired by genres like red dirt country, folk rock, and the blues, loves the 90s, and as a born and bred Jersey Girl, you'll never find her too far from a Bruce Springsteen song.
And the reason you're here today is because she wandered into refinishing her 20-year-old Alvarez and fell in love with the process. From there, she began customizing as many guitars as she could find, and was eventually commissioned to refinish a guitar that was gifted to country music singer-songwriter Zach Bryan. Owners of her guitars also include Mark C. Daniel and Cody Jinks.
She recently added custom-built guitars to her lineup.
Whether you play an acoustic or electric, contact Kelly today to have a new guitar built for you or have an old favorite given new life.
Kelly lives in an 170-year-old farmhouse in southern Connecticut with her husband and two pups, and wakes up every day merrily restless and ready to rock.
